Teaching is a lifelong learning process of finding out about new philosophies and new strategies, learning from the community, learning from colleagues, and especially learning from the students. Students have taught me to open my mind and my heart to the diversity of ideas in the world. I present curriculum that involves the interests of the students and makes learning relevant to life and thus incorporate themes, integrated units, projects, group work, individual work, and hands-on learning in order to make students active learners. Finally, I tie learning into the world community to help students become caring and active members of society.
